Standing with Ukraine
It's been more than eight weeks since the Russian military invaded Ukraine without provocation, and the injustices and tragedies of this conflict have only grown in depth and scale since.
But you can help support medical relief for the Ukrainian people.
Samaritan's Purse is a well-trusted and long-running humanitarian organization, now providing medical, food, and other relief across Ukraine. Their field hospital, clinics, and mobile unit have already treated thousands of patients there, and you can help them continue to serve many more!
I'm donating 10% of my revenue (not just the profit) to relief efforts in Ukraine through the work of the Samaritan's Purse, now through April 20, 2022.
This is in addition to the usual percentage of Dear Summit’s profits which are donated to The National Park Foundation.
Gear up for spring and summer adventures with The Trail Journal, the National Parks Checklist Map, or an eco-friendly wooden souvenir sticker - and make a real difference for the people of Ukraine!
Find out more about Samaritan's Purse and their work in Ukraine (or donate to them directly) on their website.
Thanks so much for your support, friend!

About the illustration:
Because Dear Summit is all about wild places and the adventures we find therein, I chose to draw one of the stunning landscapes found in the wild and beautiful country of Ukraine. Mount Hoverla is the tallest peak in Ukraine, standing at 2,061 meters (6,762 ft). Hoverla sits on the eastern end of the country and is a part of the Carpathian Mountains, the name is Hungarian for “snow fortress.” Hoverla Mountain is blanketed in spruce and beech forests and attracts mountaineering adventurers.
